Purchase Agreement:
Agreement: By placing a deposit on a puppy, you acknowledge and accept the terms outlined in this contract.
Holding Fee: To reserve your selected puppy, a non-refundable holding fee of $500 is required. This fee will be deducted from the total cost of the puppy.
Refund Conditions: The holding fee is non-refundable unless there is a health issue with the puppy. In such cases, you can choose either a full refund or to apply the fee toward another puppy.
Rehoming Policy: If you need to rehome the dog at any time, you must return the dog to Teddy Doods without a refund, unless you have previously arranged and received approval from Teddy Doods to rehome the dog to a family member or friend.
Pet-Only Sales: Our puppies are sold as PET ONLY with limited registration (no breeding rights) unless explicitly agreed upon by the breeder. Puppies sold with limited registration are not to be used for breeding. We recommend spaying/neutering pets not intended for breeding at or after 6 months of age. Altering your dog before this age will void the health guarantee, as early spaying/neutering can negatively impact their development.

Breeder’s Responsibilities:
Teddy Doods guarantees that the puppy is in good health at the time of transfer of ownership to the Buyer. The Buyer must have the puppy examined by a certified veterinarian within one week of taking ownership of the puppy. If the veterinarian discovers any pre-existing conditions (not including parasites such as worms), the Buyer can choose to keep the puppy or return it to Teddy Doods for a full refund. If the Buyer decides to keep the puppy, Teddy Doods will reimburse all related veterinary costs up to the full purchase price of the puppy. Teddy Doods reserves the right to get a second opinion from a certified veterinarian.
Teddy Doods provides a warranty for 2 year from the puppy's date of birth for any genetic defects, providing that the Buyer meets all requirements listed in Buyer’s Responsibilities below. Should such a condition arise, Teddy Doods will pay half of all vet bills pertaining to the genetic defect up to the purchase price of the puppy. All veterinary records must be supplied by the Buyer to Teddy Doods. Teddy Doods reserves the right to get a second opinion from a certified veterinarian.
Buyer’s Responsibilities:
The Buyer agrees to provide the puppy with a safe, loving environment and a nutritious diet.
Buyer agrees to take the puppy for a veterinary check-up within one week of purchasing the pup and following all preventative treatment recommended by the veterinarian including vaccinations.
